I have to give full disclosure – my father’s giant pet rabbit trapped me in the bathroom of one of these units back in 1985! I know that sounds crazy and I will tell you the whole story when I meet you. The doorman still remember my name, it’s that kind of building. Yes- it has a pool, gym, doorman and an elevator, but what draws people to this building is size and location. The kitchens are either white on white or upgraded with stainless steel. There is something to be said for being within walking distance of H & H bagels, Central Park and Zabars. If you are looking to have room to spread out and don’t want to go all the way over to find a pre-war classic six on Riverside-this is a great option.
