If you’ve been looking for a condo in Midtown East, you’ve probably heard of The Milan. It’s generally a building that I recommend to my clients who want a mix of space and amenities, but also want a bit of prestige thrown in there. Here’s why…

Most of the 118 condo units are two-bedrooms, so you won’t be cramped for space. But even when you do feel a bit stir crazy, there are plenty of other communal locations in the building to head out to. Take a stroll through the bamboo garden, work out in the fitness center or even hang out in the lobby – which surprisingly doesn’t feel stuffy or overly formal.

The Milan comes with your standard condo amenities as well concierge service, a full time doorman and an attended garage. Plus the units are equipped with custom climate control and electronic security, as well as being pre-wired for high speed internet and cable access.

And then there’s the prestige part. Victor Elmaleh, artist, is a principal at The Milan, Jay Valgora of Studio designed the lobby & atrium club room, and Ken Smith did the bamboo garden – so there are plenty of names to drop. More into pop culture than high culture? Well, in February, Gossip Girl took over The Milan for a day, shooting scenes both inside and outside the residence.

All of this, plus the Midtown location, makes The Milan one of my favorite condo choices in NYC.
