The Sweet Life NYC

The Lower East Side is known for its trendy and chic stores and restaurants. It is no surprise that The Sweet Life, located on Hester Street at the corner of Ludlow Street, brings the same hip vibe in the form of candy and gourmet chocolates.

The Sweet Life is a family owned shop and has been in the historic Lower East Side for the past 25 years. The stores motto is “anything can be dipped in chocolate” and they are consistency thinking of new and creative combinations of chocolate, dried fruits, nuts, and candies. As soon as you enter this scrumptious store, you will immediately feel the charm and fall into the tempting aroma.

One of the shop’s specialties is their delicious “soft pops” (chocolate covered marshmallow stick). And if you are feeling a little guilty from all your indulgences, try their “Bible Bar” featuring the seven foods of Deuteronomy. The store carries many of the same products as the high-end European candy stores on Madison Avenue but for almost half the price.

Besides the yummy individual products, the store makes gift baskets filled with delicious desserts, fine foods, and unbelievable mouth-watering sweets. Plus, they will ship order within 5 business days.

This is definitely the perfect place to stop in if you live at 21 Ludlow or are visiting your friend who just purchased an apartment there. Make their new home gift easy and fun!
