Claude T. Kilgore upholds four core principles in his real estate practice. First is to listen. Listen to the needs of his clients, ask the right questions, and then analyze all possible outcomes to find the best solution. Second is to understand, a step beyond listening that is equally important. Remembering that people have unique needs, Claude removes himself from the situation to create the best value for each individual. Next is research, what he really knows due to his finance and accounting backgrounds. And lastly is to connect. Connecting a customer and a property, and connecting all the details so the deal gets done right.

Claude capitalizes on making connections in every aspect of his work. In fact, relationships are the heart of what he does, as he believes 'it's all about relationships.' Whether it be bonding with someone on the subway, getting to know a building super, or helping a client find a home, he is a kind, caring, outgoing individual who puts others' needs first.

Complementing the emotional component of real estate is Claude's expertise with the facts and figures. A CPA specializing in financial services that comes from Ernst & Young, he has significant knowledge of the mechanics of the market and overall economy, as well as proven insight on the intricacies of the transaction process. He prides himself on his ability to relay information in plain English, bring a sense of professionalism to his deals, multitask and think quickly in demanding situations, and manage expectations within the realities of the market.

Originally from Denhawken, Texas, Claude is truly a 'southern gentleman' with a passion for the big city. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and a Masters of Science in Finance from Texas A&M University. As an avid rollerblader, Claude quickly learned the city on wheels and on foot. He especially enjoys hanging out downtown, but has a unique vantage point of all Manhattan neighborhoods. Claude sits on the board of Dias Y Flores Community Garden in Alphabet City. He is a junior board member of City Lore: the New York Center for Urban Culture. He is also licensed as a Citizen Pruner by the City of New York don't be surprised if you find him pruning street trees prior to a showing.
